Yeah, it's the third day of the new year. I'm a little late to the proverbial party. Aside from my duties outside the aether of internet, I've spent the last several days pondering the different universes that certain segments of people I know seem to live in.
There is plainly a world where anthropogenic global warming is taking place. It's not the world I live in. There is obviously a world in which Barack H. Obama is qualified presidential material. It's not the world I live in. There is most certainly a world in which our Constitution is historically irrelevant, and no longer matters to the prosperous future of America. It's not the world I live in.
There were a lot of people upset with Obama from the day he won election. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your political persuasion), I think that with the poor handling of the flight 253 disaster, the shine is officially off.
If there was ever any doubt that President Obama actively loathes traditional American values, it's gone the way of American refusal to deal with terrorist hostage takers -- disappeared.
I've been accused of being "simple-minded" and lacking in "understanding of the complexities of politics." But that's the way the left looks at us, folks. It's true that some things aren't black-and-white, but I think most of the truly important things are. You don't have to be a genius to see that Obama's election was a turning point in American politics -- and probably for the worse.
Do you believe in liberty, or tyranny? Government, or the people? Barack Obama has made his choice clear. To coin a turn of phrase, either you are with us or you are against us. The lies have been exposed, ladies and gentlemen, and the shine is off. In 2010, it's time for the revolution to begin.
