What Did we Learn?

If you're a conservative, tonight's five-point shellacking of Martha Coakley by Scott Brown is a cause for renewed optimism and celebration. We (as I number myself among the conservative camp) have learned that the people are not, in fact, powerless.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that the liberals have learned very little.

From the Hotair.com Comments:

A historic move to the center from HA commenters! Congrats on embracing a RINO guys! I’m pleased to see you’ve finally taken David Frum’s advice and moved away from the destructive, extremist fringes of your ideology, towards a pragmatic center. A great night indeed.

Spoken like a truly clueless liberal. "Denial" isn't just a river in Egypt, is it?

The fact of Scott Brown's Republican affiliation and his vow to thwart Obamacare means that he has more of a mandate than Obama ever did. This is epic.

I believe that every right-thinking person in America knows that Scott Brown's election is not the end of our journey, but is the beginning.

An open message to Ben Nelson (D - Nebraska):

I hope you sleep well tonight, sir. It may be the last restful night of sleep you have between now and November.
